Zn-Ni flexible (flexcor)

Brief technical description:

• Zn-Ni flexcor is a pliable and workable Zn-Ni alloy coating containing 12-15% nickel. It is deposited electrolytically and its low film thickness of 6-10 µm complies with the highest corrosion protection requirements. The coating is very resistant to thermal loads and is usually used on steel substrates. Naturally free of Cr(VI), as is the case for all products from Holzapfel.

Advantages:

• The most significant benefit is that bending and forming processes can take place after the coating process. Consequently, pipelines and similar products can be coated in a stretched state, obviating the need to block the piping due to its geometry. In short, less handling effort and more cost benefits for you.

Please note:

• Less is more: Zn-Ni flexcor requires no sealing. This means more safety for your components, no more agglutination in critical threads and no drop formation on sealing surfaces.
