Zn transparent with nanoparticles (nanocor)
Brief technical description:
- Nanocor offers additional corrosion protection for transparent ZN coatings (free of Cr(VI) of course). Nanoparticles embedded into the passivation ensure a self-healing effect where damage to the layer has occurred (e.g. during transport or assembly) Nanocor offers corrosion protection for at least 168 h against white rust and 360 h against red rust. This process meets the most stringent requirements, so that, for example, it can withstand a thermal load of 120°C over a period of 24 h without any loss of corrosion resistance. Steel, cast iron and sintered metals are the metals most usually coated.
Advantages:
- Highest degree of corrosion protection as a result of nanoparticles
- Good temperature resistance
- An attractive, slightly iridescent appearance
Please note:
- Nanocor does not require sealing. This means more safety for your complex components, no agglutination, no sealant residues on threads and sealing surfaces. Resistance according to DIN 50021 at 168 h WR or 360 h RR.
Area of utilisation:
- Automotive and supplier industry
- Building machinery, consumer items (fashion, design, leisure equipment, etc.)
- Buildings and industrial fittings
- Mechanical engineering
- Packaging industry
