CDP (Cataphoretic Dip Painting)
Cataphoretic Dip Painting is an electrochemical paint deposit process. Tools are immersed in an aqueous paint that conducts electricity, and a charge field is applied.
A highly uniform, closed paint surface is formed.
Advantages:
The process provides extremely high corrosion protection, particularly in conjunction with Zn or Zn-Ni alloy systems (duplex), and the finished product has a very appealing appearance.
High-grade coating can also be applied to cavities.
Areas of application (examples):
- Automotive
- Consumer industry
